The Pastel Troupe, Characters Designed by Color

This was a series of concept art designs of characters I created that informally dub as the Pastel Troupe, named after how a majority of them was designed with pastel/lighter colors in mind. Although some of them might not be updated to the newer designs I have in mind, I wanted to upload them for posterity sake as a reminder of how initially designed and created them with their original color schemes in mind.
Kazuko or as I would call her lately under the new name of Blaise, is a heavy redesign of an older character I made called Kazuki (my former avatar/mascot). She's design around the motif of witches after my fascination of them from reading Umineko.
Amika is a very old character design I've made that's been around since my high school days, she has gone through many redesigns but has always had the design motif of an anime school girl.
Juriel is my poster child, she's gone through multiple redesigns (the version in this one is also a bit dated) but is kept consistent to have the color of pastel pink as the center piece of her design.
This Lyrica character was a reimagining of an older character I made previous, transforming her to be a more devious and sinister looking character but still a kind and respectful individual. She was given the colors of red to match her new menacing look.
Marin was also kind of designed to be anime school girl type like Amika, but more to be representative of the JK (joshi kousei) stereotype. Her more mint/spring green color is a new thing for me, as this shade of color always somehow mesmerizes me.
Molly was intially created as an inside joke among me and my friends but eventually involved into being more of an actual character, designed to be Juriel's twin sister but has a more human-like essence in contrast to Juriel's demonic traits.
Nanashi was designed to be a complete contrast to Juriel color wise as light blue will often been contrasted to pastel pinks. She has always been an interesting character for me to practice drawing thanks to challenges her hairstyle presents me.
Wisteria was a by product of a designs I ended up borrowing from various characters I ended up creating from certain fantasy games while also being the icon of my second favorite color: pastel purple.
